Riding Area.

All of the riding for our Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) courses is performed at:
Heckscher State Park, Field 7, East Islip, NY 11730.

Our riding location at Field 7 in Heckscher State Park

Directions: Take the Southern State Parkway east to its end at Heckscher State Park. Continue thru the tollbooths into the park. Stay right at the fork and keep going. You will pass parking fields in succession. Parking field 7 is on the right just past field 6 and the old pool house.

Classroom Location.

Our classroom facility for our Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) courses is located at:
4020 Sunrise Highway, Oakdale, NY 11769.

The building we are using is just to the west of the Suffolk County Harley Davidson dealer. This location is really on the Sunrise Highway south service road in Oakdale. The building is located between the Sunrise Toyota car dealer and the Harley-Davidson dealer.

DIRECTIONS to the classroom:

From The West:

  • Sunrise Highway(RT27) to Exit 47 (Pond Road), follow for a 1/4 mile. The Harley-Davidson dealership will be on your right.
  • Southern State Parkway to Exit 44 East (RT27-Sunrise Hwy) to Exit 47 (Pond Road), follow for a 1/4 mile. The Harley-Davidson dealership will be on your right.
  • L.I.E (I-495) to Exit 56 (Route 111) stay in the right lane. Make a right on to Route 111 south. Follow to RT27-Sunrise Hwy. East to exit 47 (Pond Road). Follow 1/4 mile. The Harley-Davidson dealership will be on your right.

From The East:

  • Sunrise Highway(RT27) to Exit 46 (Connetquot Ave.). Stay to the right in service lane. Make left on to Connetquot Ave. Take to Sunrise Hwy(RT27) East. to Exit 47 (Pond Road). Follow 1/4 mile. The Harley-Davidson dealership will be on your right.

Parking for the classroom:
Pull in at the first driveway and we will be in the building to the right of the dealer (just before the dealer on the west side). There will be a Big Apple Motorcycle School sign in the window.
